SLURRY INFRASTRUCTURE GRANTS

PART OF THE FARMING TRANSFORMATION FUND

The slurry infrastructure grants are to improve or expand your slurry storage capacity to six months and increase the use of organic nutrients on your farm.

Grant contributions should, according to DEFRA, cover up to 50% of the current market costs of carrying out the work.

Minimum of £25,000 available, maximum of £250,000.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE GRANTS:

Reduce greenhouse gas emissions

Improve water quality

Increase use of organic nutrients

Improve air quality, particularly by reducing emissions of the air pollutant ammonia
