Wolfenden Concrete have recently completed a contract for Colne based engineering company Kirk Environmental ltd. to produce concrete roof segments for their project to construct a Biogas Plant in Glenfarg Perthshire.

24 roof segments some with cast in manholes, 4300mm wide and weighing up to 9500kg each  were cast at our Kelbrook works.

Due to the size of the units special permission was required to enable local haulage firms Matthew Kibble Transport and Joda Freight to transport the segments to site.

At wolfenden concrete we continually strive to expand our product range. As part of this ongoing process we have developed a  Diagonal Cattle Slat sized to suit our 700mm X 700mm channel. At 950mm wide this slat is the ideal width to run between the rails of a cattle race.

In common with all our slats this machine made product is very durable and practical, finished with a non slip surface it is very kind on the animals feet and easy to keep clean.

In response to  inquiries for a channel for under a cattle race we have developed our new New Cattle Race Channel.

700mm x 700mm internal size in 2000mm lengths. As with all wolfenden products it is designed to be safe and easy to install and efficient in use. A diagonal slat purpose designed to use with this channel will follow shortly.

A 10 tonne precast slab has been delivered to our Client JN Bentley Ltd.This is the largest single item supplied to their combined sewer outfall project at Sankey Brook Newton Le Wllows.

A total of 20 different sizes and shapes of precast concrete cover slabs have been cast and delivered to the site, to form 5 individual chamber covers.

Additional moulds now enable us to make Parallel cattle slats in lengths of 4000mm 4075mm & 2400mm as with all our slats the width stays the same at 1200mm and 190mm thickness 

 Here at Wolfenden Concrete we have designed and build a special machine to form the steel crack band which is fitted to the range of Durapile Precast Concrete Piles

Pre cut mild steel blanks are placed pressed into a 200mm square held whilst welded and then ejected from the formers in one operation.

In house production ensures we are full control of quality and supply
