Wolfenden Concrete Ltd. Began life in 1977 as a diversification enterprise from the livestock farming background of its principal; Michael Wolfenden. The company initially produced pre-cast products exclusively for the agricultural market because of the sound background which could be inputted to the products. The farm is still in operation today and new agricultural products get a thorough trialing there before being released onto the market. Our current product base has expanded to cope with the demand from all sectors for pre-casting due to modern day pressures on time, manpower and the ever decreasing lead time on building projects. Products made today find outlets in building sectors such as; housing, hospitals, schools, factory construction, water treatment works, plus all sectors of agriculture. An enviable list of blue chip companies are among our clients including; M. O. D., Local authorities, Morrison Construction, Tarmac, John Laing, A. R. M., Yorkshire Water, Rolls Royce, Silentnight and Coca Cola. At Wolfenden Concrete we believe in investing for the future. In recent years a new dry-casting facility has been installed capable of casting products up to 4 metres in length and weighing up to 2000kg. Our subsidiary company; Wolfenden Supplies, acts as a comprehensive builders merchant arm, specializing in three areas of tools, DIY and trade supply, ensuring all ancillaries can be supplied with precast products.
